Create Designated Areas

For better housebreaking training, you need to create some particular areas where the Shih Tzu puppies can go to pee. Use those areas as peeing areas. However, you will have to watch them closely when they are about to go for peeing. When they adapted to using the newspaper or pad, you can put them outside of the house. So, the puppies will get to know that they can potty outside.

Go For Crate Training

This is quite an important tool for Shih Tzu puppies potty training. Remember that no puppy wants to do the bathroom in the crate. They use that as their bed, and they will want it to keep clean. However, for crate training bring a crate which is large enough to accommodate comfortably. Don’t give them a large box as it will provide the space for peeing. However, don’t ever use the crate for their punishment. The reason is you want the puppies to enjoy being inside it. You need to make them feel that the crate is a safe and good place where they can stay.
